Board Members and Community Partners

March 5, 2025 - Grand Opening at our new downtown Warsaw location.

At Lakeland Art Gallery, we believe that art has the power to inspire, connect, and transform. Behind every exhibition, class, and event is a group of dedicated individuals and community partners who share that vision and work tirelessly to bring it to life.

Our Board of Directors brings experience, passion, and leadership to guide the gallery’s mission and growth. Their commitment ensures that Lakeland Art Gallery remains a welcoming space for artists, community members, visitors, and the community.

We are equally grateful to our partners — local businesses, nonprofits, and supporters — whose generosity and collaboration help sustain and expand our programs.

Together, our board and partners champion creativity, foster connection, and help build a thriving arts community right here in the heart of downtown Warsaw.

Thank you for believing in the power of art and for being part of our story.

Board of Directors

Melodie Koher, Board President, drives strategy and operations for the Lakeland Art Gallery. Born in Warsaw, IN, and spending much of her life in rural Kosciusko County, Melodie has always been inspired by nature. Like many artists, she began her creative journey as a young child.  Following high school, she completed art education through the Art Instruction School home courses and continues today by attending classes taught by professional artists.  In 2000, she was introduced to the Lakeland Art Association and in 2002, became the Director. She has served in this leadership position for nearly two decades. Melodie is grateful to God for her creativity and love of art.
